Victor Ebhodaghe Izilein

Victor Izilein, Senior Elder of the Izilein Family
Victor Ebhodaghe Izilein, the Senior Elder and Head of the Izilein family passed away on the 3rd of January 2022 after a brief illness. He was a former Director of the Ministry of Lands and Housing and Head of the Conduct Bureau. He leaves behind a Wife, 2 Sons and 2 Grand Children amidst a grieving extended family.

He was a family Man who preferred to and dedicated his time to keeping the family together. He was always on hand to provide invaluable advice and support to any family member or anyone who was in a crisis. He always said,” If you are in a position to help someone then do so”. He never wanted any payment or compensation for anything that he did and performed numerous tasks and duties from the goodness of his heart. Victor Izilein was an ardent Catholic and a reputable but unassuming Church warden in St. Albert’s Catholic Church.
